Deadline: May 26th
Prize A: Scentsy warmer from Jami http://www.scentsy.com/thewickless
Prize B: The Marriage Project by Kathi Lipp – book inspiring the challenges but these projects you can do together
Prize C: $100 off any Behind Closed Doors Package (www.lifesimagesboudoir.com) to further HAPPY your man :)
Do something to help your husband enjoy physical touch (the PG kind). Find something that he will find relaxing… back rub, massage, new pillows, foot rub…your choice. Remember to think about what your husband considers relaxing (not you).
Don’t know? – ASK!
It’s easy to do ‘comfy’, especially in the busy day us women tend to have :) And your man didn’t marry you for looks (at least mine didn’t) BUT he wouldn’t mind walking around with a little arm candy once in a while – trust me!
Do one nice thing to look good for your man, especially if you are leaving the house together, and again think about what he likes!
Have you shaved this month? why can’t you wear heels to the Home Depot? does he like your hair down? just because dinner is at Taco Bell does not mean you have to wear the sweat pants with bleach stains…
And ladies - next time you are tempted to scorn another woman “who dresses like that to go grocery shopping?” – remember she may be on project #2!!!
Help your honey with one of his regular duties or on a favorite project/hobby. The idea here is to do this together, helping with a task yes, but also gabbing about life while doing it AND showing him that you are in this together.
Ideas: taking out the trash, washing cars, cleaning garage, taking the dogs for a walk, yard work, be his assistant for that wood working project or his latest magic trick (we know your guy loves magic)
Eliminate something that makes him crazy… not that Redbook kind “crazy” either. Is his favorite watch in need of batteries going on 6 months now? Is he constantly sighing as he fumbles through makeup and curling irons just to brush his teeth? Is his “new” ipod still sitting empty because he has no time to put music on it? Is his favorite bbq utensil held together with zip ties? Go out and make a point to fix that one super-annoying thing for him no matter how small!
Make him a meal – his favorite – even if you can’t choke it down yourself. It’s cliche we know, but the way to a man’s heart is sometimes through his tummy :) And you have to make this – part of the love gesture you are bestowing today is that YOU are creating something for HIM. If you don’t already know his favorite meal – or that “favorite meal” is from 15 years ago, ask him what his new favorite is… or something he’s always wanted to try!
Get rid of one piece of clothing that your man hates to see. You know what it is ladies – he rolls his eyes when you put it on, asks “does that still fit you?”, looks nervous when you attempt to leave the house in that get-up OR suddenly gets generous “you deserve a shopping day hon”.
And if you are still acting like you don’t have any idea what we might be talking about, do you wear anything like…

Newborn session sneak peek – just 2 weeks old… isn’t he just precious!?

This beautiful mom is a long-time client – you’ll see the big boy she has now, but I still remember photographing him in mommy’s tummy and then at a few weeks old :) Has it really been so long?!

This precious curly top (reminds me of mine when she was small) came in to celebrate a special heart birthday with portraits :)
She was so sweet – I got tons of high-fives and a few unsolicited kisses! yeah me!

My little curly top from many years ago :)

Heather Gay: My precious little girl. I love her so much! Wish we could have had a smile!
The Beauty Of A Woman
The beauty of a woman
isn’t in the clothes she wears,
The figure that she carries,… See More
or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman
must be seen from in her eyes;
Because that’s the doorway to her heart,
the place where love resides.
The beauty of a woman
isn’t in a facial mole;
But true beauty in a woman,
is reflected by her soul.
It’s the caring that she cares to give,
the passion that she shows;
And the beauty of a woman
with passing years only grows.
