I am from a military family and spent 10 years in my first job working in an office with military guys and gals, so I’ve a soft spot for the uniform…

I am taking nominations until May 31st  for an appreciation photo session – one great family will receive photo session and prints purely as a GIFT!

Nominate your fav military family (and that can include just hubby and wife, wife or hubby who are holding down the homefront alone, hubby wife and a gaggle of kiddos… probably best in the Houston area huh so they can travel to the session!).

I met Tiffannie at the baby fair downtown Houston and fell in love with her scrapbooks – even more in love with the part where SHE does them FOR you!!!

I asked her to tell me a little bit about her:

Hello my name is Tiffannie Jones and I LOVE MAKING SCRAPBOOKS! I’ve been scrappin’ for over 10 years. When someone gives me their photos to scrap they are inviting me into their family and allowing me to tell their family story with my creativity! As a “scrapbook for hire” I meet and interact with so many different people and I absolutely love it! What I enjoy the most is seeing the look on their faces when they see what I’ve created with their memories!

So new and still so tiny – this was one cooperative little girl! Not a peep out of her – done in 45 minutes :) It isn’t a race mind you – but newborns normally take at least 2 hours to photograph :)   Mom and Dad didn’t escape all hazards though…

She hid this smile from me for quite a while – turning it on only when I set the camera down…

With all the other happenings I have been badly neglecting sneak peeks… soooooo  NEWBORN portrait sneak peek time!
So fresh and new – and not a wink tired!! Well tired, but not sleeping :)
